JENNIFER GARNER RECEIVES STAR ON HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME
Jennifer Garner was honored with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. The 46-year-old actress got support from her former co-stars Steve Carell, Judy Greer and Bryan Cranston, as well as her sisters Susannah Kay Garner Carpenter and Melissa Garner Wylie at the ceremony. Jennifer and Steve starred together in 2014’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” with Bryan in 2016’s “Wakefield” and Judy in 2004’s “13 Going on 30.” There were also some extra special guests in the crowd – Garner’s parents, as well as her three kids, whom she shares with ex Ben Affleck: Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel 6. Garner’s star can be found at 6920 Hollywood Boulevard.
Garner made her TV debut in the 1995 made-for-TV adaptation of the Danielle Steel romance novel “Zoya.” However, it was the breakthrough role as international spy Sydney Bristow in “Alias” (2001-2006) that made her a household name. The role showcased multiple facets of Garner’s acting chops, which helped her land a variety of roles spanning several genres, from comedy (“13 Going on 30”), to action (“Elektra”) to drama (“Juno,” “Dallas Buyers Club”). Besides currently being a national spokesperson for Capital One, she is slated to appear in the upcoming HBO series “Camping,” from “Girls” creator Lena Dunham. The series is scheduled to debut in October 2018.
