Latin industry expert Rudy Lopez Negrete has re-joined CAA where he began his career in 2008. Lopez Negrete will be back on board as an agent in the music touring department, focusing on brand partnerships for CAA’s Latin music clients.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be back at CAA working alongside the best in the business,” said Lopez Negrete in a release. “Our Latin clients are pushing culture forward every single day and brands that partner with these artists will benefit from tapping into this incredible movement.”
Lopez Negrete will be based in the Los Angeles office, where he will be working with leading Latin artists, including Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Becky G, Isabela Merced, Luis Fonsi and Mon Laferte.
“Rudy brings deep experience in building partnerships within the Latin music space — he’ll be a terrific addition to an already strong team focused on delivering the best in touring, marketing and brand sponsorships for today’s leading Latin artists,” said CAA’s co-head of North American contemporary music Darryl Eaton in a release.
After launching his career at CAA, Lopez Negrete transitioned to Lopez Negrete Communications, a leading Hispanic creative ad agency where he was head of music and content. Most recently, Lopez Negrete was overseeing all multicultural efforts at Observatory Marketing, a CAA and Stagwell company. Observatory Marketing was formerly known as CAA Marketing until April 2018.
