Lance Bass‘s upcoming holiday tour is not related to music at all: He will be hosting HGTV’s Outrageous Holiday Houses special that highlights homes across North America with the most decked out halls and features for the season.
“HGTV is stepping into Christmas with some of the most outrageous displays you’ve ever seen,” Bass said in a press release, as reported by People. “We’re going to meet the most dedicated and obsessed Christmas fans around. As a huge Christmas fan, I am excited to host this show!”
Some of the stops include the nation’s most festively named (and totally real) towns, including Santa Claus, Ind. and North Pole, Ala., and feature the most ornate spots, like a Christmas Candyland in Dallas, Texas, a 300-acre dairy farm and post office packed with letters addressed to Santa in Bernville, Pa., and a Santa train in Phoenix, Ariz.
Property Brothers‘ star Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan are slated to kick off the special by showing off their Los Angeles home embellished by gingerbread house-inspired decorations and a toy conveyor belt. The other half of Property Brothers — Jonathan Scott — will join his brother as executive producers of the HGTV special.
“Stringing the lights and trimming the tree is a favorite tradition for many families, but there are some who take it to an entirely new level,” said Jane Latman, president of HGTV, in the release obtained by People. “HGTV set out to find the most incredible, over-the-top holiday displays in Outrageous Holiday Houses and, with Lance’s help, we did.”
Outrageous Holiday Homes will air on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28 at 11 p.m. ET on HGTV.
