There’s only one Bob Marley, though two contestants covered the late legend on Monday night’s battles round of The Voice.

During part three of the battles, Kiara Brown went head-to-head with Royce Lovett with a cover of “Turn Your Lights Down Low,” originally recorded by Bob Marley And The Wailers for the classic album Exodus.

“That’s a good love song,” coach John Legend helpfully pointed out to Blake Shelton.

Jokes aside, Shelton sided with Lovett, the 30-year old Tallahassee, Florida-native, noting he was “hitting the groove.”

The Team Gwen singers got some kind words from their coach, who stated how “proud” she was of both, but there could only be one winner. And that was Lovett.

“I had to go with Royce because his voice has so much character, personality and dynamics,” Stefani says in the wrap-up clip. “He’s just really talented and has a lot of stage presence. He’s a full package.”
