Miley Cyrushas never shied away from controversy, but all she asks is to be respected on an equal level as her male counterparts.

The songstress published a four-part statement on Twitter Friday (Oct. 4), in which she talks about the dichotomy between how men and women are viewed by the public when it comes to dating. “Men (especially successful ones) are RARELY slut shamed. They move on from one beautiful young woman to the next MOST times without consequence,” she wrote. “They are usually referenced as ‘legends’, ‘heart throbs’, ‘G’, ‘Ladies Man’ etc…..where women are called sluts/whores!”

“I am just trying to THRIVE/survive in a ‘mans’ world….if we can’t beat em, join em! If our president can ‘grab em by the p—-…’ can’t I just have a kiss and acai bowl?!?!” she continued, referring to the news that spiked the rant–a TMZ video of Cyrus smooching 22-year-old crooner Cody Simpson while on an acai bowl date in Los Angeles.

She added that she refuses to be someone who just dates from home, because she “would like to share an activity with someone I am dating and not be stuck at home with pretty much nothing to do but ‘Netflix and chill.'”

“Get used to me dating – this is where I am at!” she concluded, with the seasonally-relevant hashtag, “#HotGirlFall.”

To really drive her message home, Cyrus uploaded a collage of well-known male Hollywood womanizers, including Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, John Mayer and Brad Pitt, with a photo of herself in the center. “Legends Only!,” she captioned the photo. She also uploaded a steamy photo of a shirtless Simpson to her Instagram stories, checking off his qualities of being 22-years-old, having abs, and being Australian (“my type,” she joked, referring to her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth).
